Q2 HR Solutions Achieves Back-to-Back We Invest In People Platinum

In 2006, Q2 HR Solutions became the first Investors in People (IiP) Accredited HR services company in the Philippines.

Since then, the organization has been relentlessly in pursuit to be at its best by increasing the bar - achieving Gold accreditation in 2013, and claiming the first-ever Platinum accreditation in the Philippines and outside of the UK in 2016. Along with these accolades, Q2 has experienced exponential growth not only with its close to 4,000-strong nationwide employees but also with its ever-widening service offerings. It's no surprise that this year, Q2 has reclaimed its Platinum status.

The “We Invest in People” Platinum accreditation is the highest recognition that can be achieved following the Investors in People Standard. Globally, it is currently held by only 1% of IIP accredited organizations.

This year, Q2 is celebrating its 20th anniversary - an amazing feat on its own made sweeter by the accolades it has received. In a recent interview with Trixie Whyte, Q2's founder and chairwoman she shared: "This is not just a win for our company but also for the entire SME industry and our country being the 1st IiP accredited in the PH who received a back to back Platinum certification, and of course our growing IiP PH community who themselves won awards and recognitions both local and international."

Walking the Talk in the time of Crisis

2020 has been a very interesting time for business. Most, if not all businesses battle for stability and survival amid a global economic slowdown. Q2 HR Solutions Group was not immune to these challenges. However, it was also the perfect opportunity to test the strength of its People Programs which included initiatives focused not only on Health and Wellness but also on the engagement of its workforce. The crisis ultimately was turned into an opportunity with the implementation of innovative initiatives such as the Weekly Happiness Index and the Biz Opportunity Task Force, to name a few. Trixie shared: "Innovations can come out of a crisis. I’ve learned that creating a platform and a system to allow people to share ideas is important. Having a structure to continuously generate ‘out of the box’ thinking leading to new revenue streams has strengthened our culture putting us in a better position for the foreseeable future".
